My friend and I have a room at the Ellis Hotel and we WILL be using the room as well. The room is costing us $1000 for FRIDAY SATURDAY and SUNDAY nights. We are trying to off-set the price by bringing in 2 additional people. We want $400 altogether for both spots or $250 per person for all 3 nights. Has anyone successfully transferred a Hyatt reservation this year? I see all their rules in an email they sent, but surely there is some way to hand off a reservation and not get totally hosed. Any tips?

I had a question about transferring a room I was hoping someone could answer. I booked a room at the Westin that I want to transfer, and went through the process and found a taker. Well as of yesterday, Monday, Sept 2nd, 2013,  The Westin is already completely sold out, the Hyatt and Marriott are sometime in October and the Sheraton is going fast, but was still available, I did pick up a room at the Sheraton, for next year.  the rate was $189 for a queen bed and I think they said $205 for 2 beds.  I really want the Hilton, ( Read more... )
